Lemont is a wellness destination, and we’re no strangers to amazing workout spaces that help build community.

We’re so proud to introduce you to your next favorite workout class at Endur Lagree! As is tradition, we sat down with Aneta Rutkowski, owner of Endur Lagree, to learn more about the studio and her passion for Lagree.

KG: That’s for joining me! I’m so excited to connect with you today. I have to admit, we have a Lagree studio near my house, but I’ve never been in. What’s lagree?

AR: Lagree is a high-intensity, low-impact workout done on a machine using springs and resistance. The movements are slow and controlled, so your muscles stay under tension. It combines strength, endurance, cardio, balance, and flexibility all in one workout.

KG:  That sounds like fun!

AR: It really is! Every class is instructor-led, and moves can be modified to make them either more or less challenging. Whether it’s your first class or your 100th, you can always make it your own and still get a great workout.

KG: Do the classes have a theme or focus?

AR: Our classes are full-body, so you’ll work your core, legs, and upper body throughout the 45 minutes. The exercises and routines change, so every class feels a little different.

KG: That will work well for people who want to pick up a class here and there and people who are ready to dive in. What do class packs look like?

AR: We have a lot of flexibility. You can do a single class, purchase class packs, or choose one of our monthly memberships with 4 classes, 8 classes, or unlimited classes. (click here for membership info).

KG: Perfect! I’m sure we’ll have lots of folks ready to spend all of their time there.

AR: Community is a huge part of Endur. We wanted the studio to feel welcoming from the second you walk in—not just a place where you work out and leave.

KG: What should people know as they start at Endur Lagree?

AR: You don’t need any Lagree experience to start. Our classes are 18+, and our instructors will walk you through the machine and help with modifications throughout class. Just come ready to move—and expect a little shaking!

KG: I’ve learned from my doctor how important strength training is as we age, especially as women.

AR: Absolutely. Lagree is a great way to build strength while still being low-impact and easy on the joints. We offer early-morning, mid-morning, evening, and weekend classes, so there are plenty of ways to fit it into your routine.

KG: We can’t wait!

Endur Lagree is opening at 1118 State Street. Find them online at endurlagree.com to view memberships, class schedules, and learn more about the business.
