A Bachelor Party For The Guys

Four young men standing outside Nick's Tavern in Lemont Downtown

Your bachelor days are soon to be behind you and you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate. Call up your guys and follow this itinerary for a kick-ass night in Lemont.

Kick-Off Dinner

Tell the crew to meet you at one of these restaurants for an epic dinner.

Cornerstone Tavern

The beer you’re looking for and the comfort food you need. Reserve a few table at Cornerstone Tavern and plan to order a little bit of everything while you sip on a wide selection of beers.

Pro Tip: If you plan to take the party somewhere else, this is a wonderful spot to order catering.

Matt’s Barbecue

Delicious Texas-style barbecue, classic drinks, and a building with lots of history. Matt’s Barbecue is on the top of our list any day but especially when you’re meeting up with friends. Enjoy some brisket, ribs, and their delicious mac and cheese before heading out to the bars.

Pro Tip: Ask to see the bank vault or photos of the Lemont robbery.

The Big Activity

Climbing adventure course at The Forge

The Forge

If the couple spends the weekends going on long bikes or running 5ks, we highly recommend getting a few Explorer passes for The Forge: Lemont Quarries. Go rock climbing, zip lining, axe throwing, and kayaking with your friends.

Pro Tip: Come up with a point system and guidelines and make a game out of completing every activity throughout the day. The winner gets a special sash or crown for the rest of the weekend.

Go Polar Cryotherapy

Cold Feet? Try cold entire body. Treat your exhausted muscles to floating therapy or a dip in the cryotherapy. It’s a great way to treat muscle pain, inflammation, mood, and exhaustion.

Toast To Your Single days

Hughies McLafferty’s

Make a toast to your single days at this traditional Irish Pub in the heart of Downtown. The cozy pub is a classic establishment and the perfect place to buy a round for fellow patrons. If you’re around on Sundays, check out their weekly corn hole tournaments!

TAKE A RIDE ON THE QUARRY QUEEN

Take a ride on the wild side with American Bar Car’s Quarry Queen. Rent out the private tractor ride for $350 and enjoy a tour of the I&M Canal Pathways and through Lemont Downtown. You’ll enjoy drinks, music, and many laughs with your friends.

Pollyanna Brewery

Even if you’re not a total fan of beer, there is something so fun about a local beer tasting and seeing which one of your friends can taste all of the notes and hops. Check the event calendar for live music, stand up, or food trucks. If the weather cooperates, enjoy your hops on the newly renovated patio overlooking the canal.
