A collaborative effort between businesses, musicians, and the community to benefit Lemont food pantries (Bethany and Lemont United Methodist Open Pantries) is taking place on Saturday, August 29.  On a normal year, everyone would come together to enjoy a great day of music.  In 2020, it’s a little bit different.

Four hours of live music will be streamed on Saturday, August 29 through the Giving Back to Lemont Facebook page.  Make sure to like the page so you can watch!  The event will be streamed on YouTube as well, and simulcast at Corner Stone Tavern, Tap House Grill, and Hughie McClafferty’s.  You can get more information by visiting the Event Facebook Page or by visiting https://www.hopeandfriendshipfoundation.com/.

You will be able to drop off “gold items” and/or monetary donations throughout town at various support locations starting today (Wednesday, 8/26). Those places are:

  • Pollyanna Brewing Company
  • Wooden Paddle
  • Gelsosomo’s Pizzeria and Pub – Lemont
